Sex and the City movie dvd. Review: It's a mighty task, adapting a well loved television programme onto the big screen. As a fan of Sex and the City I waited with bated breath until, this week I finally received my copy of Sex and the City movie, dvd. The film kicks off four years on from where the series ended, as Carrie and Big take the decision to move in together, posing the question of whether they should make the ultimate commitment to each other, marriage. Meanwhile, Carries' three fabulous friends are dealing with their own issues as they muddle through relationships, marriage, motherhood and work. After five years with Smith, Samantha has moved to L.A to live with him and work as his P.A, she's missing her girls, missing N.Y__..and starting to wonder if she misses sex with other men! Charlotte and Harrys' happy marriage continues to thrive as they bring up their adorable daughter Lily, while Miranda and Steve struggle to save their marriage after it's rocked by infidelity. Michael Patrick King, making his feature film directorial debut, creates a character arc for each of the four women, taking all of them to new places pushing them in a slightly different and more mature direction to where we last saw them. I can imagine the impact Sex and the City must have had in the cinema • • " but I don't regret waiting as it is well worth viewing in the comfort of your own home. I set myself up as if I were watching the series, with a bottle of wine and my cat curled up beside me. My only regret was not having the girls over with chocolate and tissues, as I dealt with the various emotional turbulences in this film! I got everything I wanted from Sex and the City, fashion, filth, tenderness and tears. At one point I laughed so hard, I nearly had an accident! On a technical note, the Dvd extras are excellent____blah, blah blah*****adam to add dvd stuff****** Best of all__.I got Carried away.
